Is there anything wrong with the tanks inhabitants? and the test kit is probably expired or contaminated. If your alkalinity was that high everything would likely be dead or dying. Have someone else test your water.

I agree that you are better off monitoring and doing waterchanges right now than trying to dose anything. If you do a weekly 15% waterchange the parameters should stay pretty good because you only have a few corals that will use calcium and alkalinity anyway.

Do you have any coral?
You are new and should not need to be dosing anything, regular water changes will keep everything in the proper values for Fish and basic coral. |
