Actually I was asking about the wooden stand. Did you add a center support once the sump was in?

Ooooh! I thought I had it bad with 3x400W MH's and 8x36" T5's. I dread bulb-changing time.

steve fedyk 11-14-2011 04:29 AM

great looking corals.
What do you do for maintenance on your tank, dosing water changes, feeding of fish and corals.

Maintenance is pretty minimal, I do a 10g water change on weekends mostly just for cleaning sediment around the rocks.
I dose the main 3 and vodka all on a prolifux doser.
I feed the fish nori and a few pellets for the trigger and clowns.

Cuz looks great man. Have you ever found that you have had the red algae growing on your rocks? and if so what was yoru method of ridding it out? The colors are amazing I take it that is from the T-5's enhancing the colors out.

I've been lucky with the red plague cyano.. But lately there has been a layer of green cyano growing in patches. I usually just syphon it out as I see it.

The T-5's are antinic so they help, the rest is 6-250w phoenix 14k's!!

kien 11-14-2011 09:43 PM

Nice open scaping with decent colonies.... For the main 3 part dosing do you use the liquid 2 part or make your own?

Mata or barienne I'm I. Awe at how much this fish eats!! Definitely makes everyone else hustle come feeding time. I've got to lure him to one side of the tank with nori just so the two clowns have a chance!! Lol
