I do not know what frogs I will put in yet.
I currently keep;
4 Standard Lammasi,
2 Tarapoto Imitators
2 Southern Varriabillis
7 Bora Ridge Ventramaculatus
4 Super Blue Auratus
3 Micro Spot Auratus
1 Pumillio Bastimentos
1 Adelphobates Quinquinvitatus
1 Blackwater Ventramaculatus.
It will be planted with all sorts of Broms Orchids and mosses!
For some reason my wife is not as happy about this as I am!
Keith.

Wow that is awesome. Man.. your house must sound like the rainforest in Costa Rica!

It was about that time that the rules started changing up too much. My friends stopped playing, and well, you can't exactly play alone now can you!

As for WoW... LOL, I play that one :) BC expansion was good, Wrath was a bit silly (too bad, good story line, and zones) Cata so far (world has been blown up) is looking really nice! Can't wait for tomorrow! Release day :)

Wow takes up most of mine and my wifes (yep, she plays) time. Living in a small apartment doesn't leave too much room for too many hobbies!

Very true my problem with wow was that I was in a high end raiding guild had all tier 3 epic gear full transcendence then bc came out and got better greens in my first 2 hours of playing than I had in my whole /played time :(

Moving from BC & knowing no one out here that played it is the reason I stopped. I have no idea what my total count of cards is anymore. I did have it all priced out at one time, but no idea where that database is anymore.

Who has time for hobbies when you have a reef tank :P

Murminator 12-08-2010 06:10 AM

Jeebus where do I start my wife says I have to many hobbies. 7 tanks on the go this is the hobby I mostly do when I'm bored it's turning into work more than hobby. 2 Dogs westie and a yorkie so we do dog things throughout the week. In the summer we camp alot this year not so much only spent 24 nights in the camper but usually around 35-40 nights. When we are camping we are quadding also or fishing or we are at car show. When camper gets put to bed for the winter(oct) the sleds come out sled as much as we can till April then they go to bed quads and camper come out. I used collect die cast 1:18 cars American Muscle I have around 150ish all new in the box, but they are just collecting dust now along with RC race trucks. I am a member of about 6 clubs in and around Edmonton fish, truck, car, snowmobile, quad, dogs, lots of xmas parties this time of year . I moderate on 2 message boards and organize 2 huge club get togethers a year summer one has around 500 people attending huge sponsors for across Canada and the US. The winter one is about 350 people, which these alone take up 1-2 days a week 52 weeks a year. And I maintain 2 houses Ours and my mother in laws yard work, garden, snow removal. In between all this I work 24/7 7 on 7 off

rokosd 12-08-2010 06:23 AM

Seems like everyone has dogs that is in this hobby?!?! And yes, I have 3, 2 yorkies, and 1 black lab cross. They take alot of time. I have 2 tanks running so they take alot of time. I do anything outdoors ie:fishing, camping, hunting. The outdoors stuff is why I need Steve this summer to take care of the fish:biggrin:then I have more time for it. And if i have any other time, I build plastic models. The model building has been my hobby for a long time now. Really enjoy it:biggrin:.

Lampshade 12-08-2010 06:38 AM

+1 on wow's stupid expansions. My wife and I used to play, then we had 2 kids and well... changing diapers took over raiding time.

So as for hobbies... fish tank, new house and 2 kids under 2 years old doesn't leave much time for other stuff. I do sneak time to play SC2 sometimes, but that's usually ended shortly by a screaming child.

I enjoy fishing, but i only got out 4 or 5 times this year, so i don't know if that qualifies a hobby anymore. I definitly enjoy it, standing by the river, drinking a beer on a nice summer day doesn't get much better.

burgerchow 12-08-2010 09:18 AM

hobbies

too many to list, but here's some...

racing radio control cars, electric and gas, flying r/c planes and helicopters,
riding my harleys, 3 tanks, full reef, fowlr and turtle tank, casino ( spend way too much time an money there) and massages.. lol..

BMW Rider 12-08-2010 03:10 PM

I don't partake in any hobby that is inexpensive.

The ones I do have aside from aquariums and my pond:

-motorcycles - more like an addiction
-woodworking
-downhill skiing - only an occasional pastime though
-gardening/lanscaping

Try floats, I've got my commercial licence and once you make a water landing on a river you'll never look at runways the same way again!

For other hobbies I hike, downhill ski, photography, sailing (saving up for a boat), kayaking. Our Border Collie is a child-substitute and lately the Total War series of Computer games take up a bunch of my time

Cheers

Ecxellent choice.

I used to fly with the Air Cadets. Had my private and glider licenses. Haven't flown in many years though, just couldn't afford it anymore; both in time and money. Life stuff got in the way. Now I'm so long out of date, I'd have to start all over. I've logged about a hundred hours on powered filight and over 500 glider flights. I'd like to get back into the gliding again someday; it's much more relaxing and peacful, yet at the same time more demanding of the pilot's skills to do it well.

You would be surprised how fast it would come back. I bet within 10hrs you would be comfortable again.

I haven't been up in 2.5yrs, again life got in the way, a new baby & building a house did that. I am hoping to get going again in the spring.

Slick I would love to get my float ticket one day. I did look at a course on Van Island that did bush flying & floats in a week long course. From landing on a lake to landing on a sandbar with tundras... ahhh.. one day

Fish Head 12-09-2010 05:09 PM

when i get time to enjoy, ive got 2 new quads that sit, 2 dogs,a shiloh shepard and a border collie, shooting, tinkering with carpentry related things, currently building my garage so all free time has been spoken for.

The skills side of it wouldn't be the issue. I'd have to redo all the ground school stuff and re-test.
