Here's another project my dad and I did when I was 16. My first vehicle :) Started as a rusted piece of crap from some farmers field in sask some where.

I'll scan in some photos of how it started but here's how it look after the restore... but it's been sitting in a garage for 6 yrs now

That`s a thing of beauty SDW. What are you using under it for a drive train

Lots of sweet rides on here. My bro bought a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 six speed in January last year. He has already modified it to just over 500 horses. When summer came I could no longer live without a hot rod - so I bought a 2007 Dodge Charger RT Daytona numbers car - rolling a HEMI (350 horses) and sublime pearl paint. Had to park her for winter and cannot wait to get her back on the road in the Spring. Gonna do virtual street out at Race City one night this year for sure! Sorry I am at work and don't have access to my pictures.

Left for school in toon for 4 and can't really afford to insure it for the last 2 not to mention it's a pig on gas. All in good time just gotta get those student loans paid down first :)

riceboy 02-24-2010 08:14 PM

Damn sdw how much time did it take u to do all the body work cause I have to fix some rust that's starting to bubble a bit

superduperwesman 02-24-2010 08:18 PM

Basically took me 2 summers to do the wide body on the civic. I was so sick of it by the end! And it wasn't exactly fun driving around with half a wide body kit on for a year.

First time round on the car only took a few days.

Truck took us 7 months but the body was ROUGH and that's wiring, interior, glass, etc.

LeeR 03-16-2010 01:31 PM

i got a new car:mrgreen: its another civic... aaannnddd a teaser shot

Well after countless hours of windtunnel testing, we opted against it as the extra horse power was not needed.

Here you can plainly see that it was engineered for great downward force as stock.

Boosted ZC at that! Gotta be careful with those. All these 88-91 civics are making me miss my 90 CRX Si and my 89 CRX Si I had even more than I have been... Someday I'll own another 1 or 2 CRX's!

If you`re using the stock head gasket you`ll prob blow it pretty quick at 8 lbs

So it used to look more like mine, I guess there is hope. I've got a 57 Fargo with a Nova front clip. I'll dig up a pick.

Nice. I got to drive a 1930 Graham with wood spokies for a friends wedding a number of years back. Was a pretty cool experience.

lockrookie 03-18-2010 03:15 PM

i used to have a 54 pont chieftian 2 door i wanted to fix up but due to lack of starage i had to part with it  i have done a few bikes i have to find pics of but for now this pic will do :)

this is my old ride please note the flames and happy faces the happy face in the flames are for the memory of the van before it. someone lit the neighbours garage on fire wich in turn melted the whole drivers side of my van. the only saved decal was the happy face on the drivers door. as well note the fake spinners i didnt get the spoiler attached yet but its in the garage hehe. replaced the engine in it and added dual exaust with chery bombs. i get bored what can i say

I'll take a guess 1967.5 1600 looks like someone drilled some holes in the filler panel to mount lights to look like a 2000......but only a guess

lorenz0 10-29-2010 07:10 AM

my new project/daily went back to my VW roots. I bought new suspension (springs and shock) and I hate how it sits in the back. New coilovers will be going on in the spring and than just motor mounts, all new front control arms and I have to re-do my vacuum lines. Maybe space the wheels out a bit more, haven't decided yet
