Rule #2: ALL members including vendors can enter, photos must be from a personal display tank, not store stock.

This photo you submitted is of Colby's collapsable KOI pool in his store, not your tank... SO IT ISN'T SUBMISIBLE, SORRY... Canreef please take note and disqualify Karazy's entry.

I stated it was a great pic, no need to get mad.

Photo police are out in full force!!!!:lol::lol:

CONSIDER HIM DISQUALIFIED... I think this is all in fun, I mean the winning prize is a framed picture no need to harbour hatred over Elite Rick... and lastlight you have my vote on that photo :D

Flucker 11-07-2009 06:42 PM

I vote for Devonious. NICE PLATE CORAL!!!

I don't wish to start anything, so I won't... It isn't harboured hatred... It is all justified and others do feel the same. NICE PHOTO'S EVERYONE!, I already posted who I voted for.

Jason McK 11-08-2009 05:09 AM

Karazy was not aware of the Rule requiring the post to be from a private tank. It was an honest mistake and he with drew his entery. I did not delete it because it's a cool photo.

Let it go

The lens is a Nikkor 18-200mm (with a Nikon D90 body).
I'm just now starting to get better with it; lots to learn from a regular point and click that i'm used to.

Wow, I need more red... I don't have anything to submit. I have an orange and a red digi, but they are so new, they are still not fully out. Oh well.

Next contest should be the most outrageous Coraline growth pic.

The photos many of put up are gorgious! Does one have to have digital SLR with a special lense to get these shots? Could one use a Nikkon coolpix on manual settings? If so what settings? OR could I use a Canon Rebel SLR and if so what lense and settings? Do you use a tripod? Do you edit in photoshop?
Also how do you get you tank glass and water so clear that it seems it is not there at all?
These photos make great art:)
So many questions..hope there are some answers for those wanting to start taking photos.
