KennyKen 04-05-2009 08:17 AM

These are all my girls.

Daisy the dachshund just passed away this week,

the other two sisters, Lucy and Zoey are little brats.

Im currently in the market for an English Bulldog. If anyone know reputable breeders, let me know.!!

i would love to one a doberman, just the rest of family is little people (5'5 and shorter) and very much intimidated, lol.

Key Equine, your pups are beautiful.

Key Equine 04-05-2009 12:51 PM

Thanks, KennyKen! We have a similar problem in that I would love to get an Italian Greyhound or something similar, but the dobermans would squish it, I'm sure... :)

fishoholic, Gulliver is adorable! I love those ears...

Thank-you. I wasn't going to get a third dog but I volunteer for Second Chance Animal Rescue Society aka SCARS http://www.scarscare.org/ and I saw him and fell in love with how adorable he is and I just had to take him home with me.

Dog Pic

Thank you, Me too. They are the only dog breed I ever owned. Beside the puppy stage of chewing the carpets and the dinning table legs, the cat dish that need constant replenishing and the fact that ALL GARBAGE must be kept out of the house:biggrin: I absolutely love them...They are little children in a fur coats.

She will be 10 in October. She has slowed down a bit, but still steal the odd loaf of bread from the kitchen counter. This used to drive me insane when she was a pup...I now find it funny when she pulls this old trick.

my2rotties 04-09-2009 07:00 PM

I wish my rotties would make it ten years. They get cancer and die usually at about seven. I have had six now, and the one I have left just turned two... I don't think I could ever not have a rottie. I have had them since 1991... wow I am getting old.

Dog Pitures

Yes. I keep my finger crossed. Beside the dry eyes and chronic yeast infections in the right ear we have been fortunate. But i have to prepare myself for the day where we will have to take the big decision...

my2rotties 04-09-2009 08:52 PM

I can honestly tell you that the yeast infections are due to food allergies... Dealt with that with my first rottie Damian. You can get an ear cleaner from the vet as well as Surolan to help get rid of the yeast infection.

Lets not talk about that day when you say good bye... enjoy her and all the quirky things this breed does.

You know it must be a Shorthair thing because when I had him over at my parents he would do the same thing to their pomeranian. Now he tries to bully and tease their Irish Setter but that never goes over to well when she is 2" taller and 10 pounds heavier.

Who did you get your Shorthair from?

Here is my guy, he come from Firepoint in Lethbridge. CH Firepoint Diego FD "Diego" (CH Navigator Kittyhawk FDJ x CH Malhaven Maximum Ice).

Cant forget the setter. Bailey came form a guy up in Hanna AB. She had 1 litter of pups when she was 3 but now at 9 years she is just enjoying her time on the couch and chasing pheasants in the fall.

Today, bad doggie day mine was just bit in the leg by I am guessing the dog next door.
He is not a happy camper at the moment. Got him on the leg, good. Not alot of blood
but the poor boy is sore and not moving around too much. All this threw a fence of posts with wire mesh stuff. He is 10 and thought he new not to antagonize the huge
shepard. Guess not or it was a coyote!?

traco 04-19-2009 09:50 PM

Ryan, my very first dog was an Irish Setter. I was 4 and had her till she passed away when I was 14. Beautiful dogs.

Great looking dog.
Mine came from a breeder in Brackendale here in BC.
I showed him for the first year, but had him fixed after that as showing a dog is another hobby all in its own, and too much of a commitment for me.
He grew up with that Chi and the are actually just playing. I have lots more pictures like that.
They sure have personality I love mine.
