This does seem like a good cause. Like he stated if you dont want your photot for sale just simply state it.

No problem, just post "NFS" in your post. This is completely voluntary.

Marlin65 11-07-2008 04:00 AM

You can sell mine.
Here is a few more not sure what I want to enter. I almost had a picture of my fire shrimp cleaning my Niger Trigger but I was to late.

steve, one little thing, to avoid complications, I think that for pictures without either a clear FS or NFS, we should just assume NFS.

Perhaps and a good point but I'll be contacting the photographers before a sale is completed to get a full size pic. Any issues should come up then.

Here is my entry, taken on a olympus evolt e-410 14-42mm (28-84mm standard)

m_wonnacott 11-11-2008 02:36 AM

i love that picture of the manderin goby and would possibly be interested in purchasing a copy of it depending on the price it is beautiful. I could not find the info in the first post about it.

justinl 11-11-2008 02:49 AM

the details used to be in the first post but it has been edited. Steve, was there a problem with selling the pics?

Why not? I thought it was a great idea for a good cause. Plus if someone didn't want to sell they didn't have to, the choice was theirs to make.

Keri 11-11-2008 04:18 AM

You could always create forum where people could post pics they don't mind donating for a good cause :)

I have no idea what it is but it is spectacular, I saw it at Animal House in Chilliwack..it had been there about 4-6 weeks and was sort of shriveled up. I picked it up and put it in my aggressive tank and it looks great. Here is another picture of it..yes that is a Golden Dwarf Moray making one of his rare appearances in the background

Scythanith 11-14-2008 04:49 AM

I think this is an Alveopora sp. Alveopora sp. have 12 small tentacles while Goniopora sp. have 24. I'm sure someone can straighten this out for sure.

Cool, it'd be interesting to see how many handicapped ones a coral may have??

Alveopora with some 10s, 11s or 13s or Goniopora with some 23s or 25s... I mean it's gotta happen??

cprowler 11-14-2008 07:07 PM

I believe this piece is a Sunset Montipora ? Could be wrong though, as I have been before!

wickedfrags 11-19-2008 10:30 PM

Sunset montipora, OCDP you are correct. Perhaps one of the nicest monti's out there. Grew this out from a 0.5" frag from ther LFS about 2 years ago, has had it ups and downs, but is doing real well now.
