Ahhh! Finally I see the light at the end of the tank build tunnel and boy is my wife happy.:lol: Just a few finishing details left to go.

Wow.. that's nice... The stain really sets off the tank well! Very nice work!

Thanks Michika, but I must confess I bought the wrong color and was too lazy to go get the one I wanted, I was going to paint it white, everything happens for a reason.

hey i just bought well pick it up tomorow a 90 gallon. and was wondering if you have any adivce or tips for how you did your rock with the pvc (this is a tank upgrade from a 45 to a 90) finaly have the space to do soemthign like that nice setup by the way

Thanks Pastout' The pvc structure I made was a basturdized version of Superfudge's 1000 gal project. I made a base using 1/2 inch pipe and t's then created the arch shape I wanted. I drilled holes in the pvc and the rocks and then fastened the rock to the pvc with zap straps. It's a bit time consuming but well worth the effort in the end. I still have room for more rocks which lends to coral placement. In the past I have even created pvc structures that hang on the tank and allow you to place rock near the surface without fear of them collapsing.
