No one hates reading conspiracy theories. You guys need to stop twisting words; I click the back button if it doesn't interest me but I'm left wondering why the hell the Lounge is DOMINATED by alien hocus pocus.

I actually thought Brad (reef_raf) was being serious when he said "I thought we were going to limit it to one per day."

This board doesn't censor petty things but you can tell that this starting to become a nuisance. If anything, you guys don't even realize that most people have been quietly polite about it for the last what? 3 months?

My god.

reptile guy 11-19-2007 03:54 AM

Sounds like a good idea to me to keep it to one thread for who evers interested in reading it all. Just when you get these conspiracy theories every day then it starts to be 4 a day and he just posts them and doesn't even say anything in his posts then they end up just looking like spam more than anything. If you want to believe in everything you've ever heard and share it with everyone than cool thats up to you but at least say something about your posts and try to keep them to a couple threads not tons of new ones every time cause it ends up being half the lounge is a conspiracy. Don't get me wrong doesn't bug me that much more just confuses me as to why but hey it made for a good laugh and I think russel got one too so no harm done lol

people who are interested can check it regularly, people who dont care, dont have to see each new one every single day. i at least would be happy enough with that. what do you guys think?

.

I was serious! Really, we don't want to censor these things, but as mentioned, it's starting to look like alien spam dominating the lounge. :)

andresont 11-19-2007 09:23 PM

Yeah, i can do one a day no problem :)

Here is one for today: (As per Justin's request i kept it in the same thread ;))

BTW a had never offered my own opinion on any of the theories, all i had said was, that it was interesting to read.
Do NOT read if this is of no interest to you LOL.

UFO Disclosure

Once again UFOs are being featured on the Larry King Live show. On Friday night January 9, 2007 he hosted Shirley MacLaine and several of the pilots and witnesses who would be appearing the following Monday at the National Press Club conference in Washington DC about UFO disclosure. The witnesses on Larry King were impressive, with the sole skeptic appearing on the show weakly complaining that they were all mistaken.

The following Monday November 12, 2007 at the Press Club the assault on the cover-up continued. Those present included former Governor of Arizona Fife Symington, producer James Fox, Colonel Charles Halt of the USAF, Sergeant Jim Penniston of the USAF, Nick Pope from the UK Ministry of Defense, Shirley MacLaine, FAA Division Chief from the CIA John Callahan, Chilean Air Force pilot Rodrigo Bravo, Iranian fighter pilot Parviz Jafari, and France Air Force captain Jean-Charles Duboc. All of whom, per the skeptic on Larry King, are "mistaken".

Former Pilots and Officials Call for New U.S. UFO Probe
November 12, 2007

An international panel of two dozen former pilots and government officials called on the U.S. government to reopen its generation-old UFO investigation as a matter of safety and security given continuing reports about flying discs, glowing spheres and other strange sightings. The panelists from seven countries, including former senior military officers, said they had each seen a UFO or conducted an official investigation into UFO phenomena.

In the Sky! A Bird? A Plane? A UFO?

January 1, 2007
http://www.chicagotribune.com/
A flying saucerlike object hovered low over O'Hare International Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick clouds with such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast skies, said some United Airlines employees who observed the phenomenon. Officials at United professed no knowledge of the Nov. 7 event - which was reported to the airline by as many as a dozen of its own workers - when the Tribune started asking questions recently.

No Marc, you didn't. And if you maybe said it more, we'd all feel better. Yes, we love you too. Not that way, of course, but, well, you know what I mean :)

I posted some reasons why already, someplace. This thread would have progressed fine after his last post, until someone stirs the pot, "again", like this.

Its always the same people also. Just leave it be for crying out loud. He posted a conspiricy theory or whatever it was. Discuss that point and leave the rest out.

Thank-you !

reptile guy 11-20-2007 04:57 PM

rigger we were coming to an end of it all and your the one who's flaming things. Why would we want to be like other places lounges who are just filled with crap like you say? And you say should be able to post whatever as long as it's within reason but I guess I'm the only one who thinks 30 posts in 5 pages about the same things is a bit much and should try to keep them all to a couple threads so the lounge isn't taken completely over by them(wow long sentence lol). I don't care if he wants to post about aliens and other things he can do it as much as he wants just not to keep starting new threads for every single one of them thats not an over the top request. The joking was only light hearted and if I saw him at a bar I'd buy him a beer and could both have a laugh about it all so just chill out and take a deep breath cause it seems like your havin a bad day

Precisely. Hard to imagine a reefer taking such a blow over that, and such tolerance for this....

okay how about this, since this is russell's thread and we all came to an agreement that we're all relatively happy with, shut up! everyone just shut your pie hole unless it's in regard to whatever andresont decides to post (*mad twitch*)... this is his designated thread.
