Where did you adopt her from Brad?

Evil Guppy 02-06-2008 06:59 AM

We have a Shih Tzu / Poodle cross named Kona. He's doesnt shed and is about 18 lbs now. Poodles are generally pretty smart and ours has been great with our nephew who is in his terrible two's. No matter how "evil" he gets, Kona has never shown any aggression towards him.

The pic below is when he was a puppy but hes now a little over two.

A great site for looking at dogs is dogster.com. They have tons of owners dog pics to view.

EmilyB 02-06-2008 07:23 AM

I got her from the SPCA in Comox. Saw a picture of her online and just had to give her a home. She's about 10 months old, and had been neglected for about 8 of those, but turning into a great dog.

Don't be getting to close to that water. Not my pic but a favorite.

Sadly she is no longer with us but I could never get any other kind of dog.

If you're talking about Doug's pic. of his smaller dog, I believe the ear is folded back, and that's why it looks odd.

Chowder 02-08-2008 07:38 PM

Trip trying on his touk. (spelling?)

Yes he is pretty cute by my god what a little bugger:)

Will be a great agility dog as by the time he was 10months he could clear the baby gate keeping him contained...lol

P.S> Did you notice he had 3 bones under him???:) From day one he claimed all the bones as his own and stock piles them on his bed...lol

I,m guessing you mean the little guy. If so, he,s a Silver Dapple, thus all the silver coloured hair. Here is a couple of him when smaller.

We have been thinking about getting a dog for a while now and this thread definately helped on deciding what kind. We decided to get a mini schnauzer and she just came home this weekend. This is Sophie:)

marie 11-10-2008 04:17 PM

Go

We have 2 dog's they are both mixes. One is very sweet his name is Zipper. And we have a little furry thing too her name is Sienna they are great company. But a dog is a huge commitment. Potty training on the little dog took a year. And it was very frustrating. They train you. She happens to be a year and 3 months now, home free
finally. Do Not count on children to take on the responsibilty It is a lot of work but I personally feel its worth it. You get what you put into it I say. I think there is a lot to
finding a dog from a shelter hopefully house-broken. But if your like me you have to learn the hard way. Puppies are very cute until you live with one the novelty runs out dang quick. And I consider myself an avid pet lover. All I can say you don't know till you have one. Oh and that goes for kids too. LOL

7 year old Standard poodle named Shadow. Way too smart for his own good can do about 20 tricks including playing hide and seek. Very spoiled and amazing dog I would tell anyone to give them a look. Can run forever
