Joe Reefer 05-03-2007 01:33 AM

Grrrrrh stupid bugs!!!:bad-word:

Delphinus 05-03-2007 04:54 AM

Dang dude the tank's looking awesome. I love the shot with the trigger sort of silhouetted above the rock. Love the triggers, too chicken to try one but ... hmmm do you think a niger trigger would hunt out pest crabs??

Joe Reefer 05-03-2007 05:21 AM

To be honest, my niger doesn't look for anything other than food coming from above. Tony maybe you should try a undulate trigger or some type of trigger that is more prone to eating crabs and snails.

Delphinus 05-03-2007 05:25 AM

Ah .. I was just fantasizing. I've got cleaners and peppermints in the tank in question and don't really have another place for them (other tank has a flame hawk). It's the amazing coral-less tank (stupid crabs .. well OK to be fair it's not just the crabs, it's the gargantuan anemone and the skyhigh nitrates too, but the crabs don't help. Apparently it's just something I like complaining about.)

Snappy 05-03-2007 05:42 AM

Its looking really good. Is that angel from Harvey¿

Joe Reefer 05-31-2007 05:45 PM

Yeah.....the angels are from Harvey.

wickedfrags 05-31-2007 05:54 PM

Great looking tank from beginning to end. Love the layout, and organization.

Question for you - are you concerned about having a rock fall down from your aquascaping and cracking the glass? I thought the reason people who go BB use that starboard was to protect the bottom pane of glass from falling rocks? At the same time I do see yours are not piles to high.

Joe Reefer 05-31-2007 06:38 PM

Thanks 220, I am not too concerned about falling rocks cracking the glass. They are placed strategically so hopefully I wont come home to 120 gallons on the floor.

wickedfrags 05-31-2007 06:49 PM

Ya it looks pretty stable and low as well. Is the bottom panel tempered? Either way the liklihood of cracking is pretty low I imagine.

Nice looking corals. That birdsnest is great. Keep up the pictures.

michika 08-18-2007 11:53 PM

Yay! Photos!

SuperFudge 08-19-2007 02:52 PM

Nice Job Lando !

Are you liking the niger ?

I have two in my display, though they have been good with the corals it seems the bigger they are getting the more agressive they are becoming.

I tried 4 fire fish....they ate one before it even seen the inside of the tank and another about 10 mins after that.
I have two left, i just cant figure out why they left these two alone.

Good work,
Marc.
