Looks really good there Lando. too bad that you have red bugs:cry:
Grrrrrh stupid bugs!!!:bad-word:
Dang dude the tank's looking awesome. I love the shot with the trigger sort of silhouetted above the rock. Love the triggers, too chicken to try one but ... hmmm do you think a niger trigger would hunt out pest crabs??
To be honest, my niger doesn't look for anything other than food coming from above. Tony maybe you should try a undulate trigger or some type of trigger that is more prone to eating crabs and snails.
Ah .. I was just fantasizing. I've got cleaners and peppermints in the tank in question and don't really have another place for them (other tank has a flame hawk). It's the amazing coral-less tank (stupid crabs .. well OK to be fair it's not just the crabs, it's the gargantuan anemone and the skyhigh nitrates too, but the crabs don't help. Apparently it's just something I like complaining about.)

Hey Lando,
I'm not sure how I missed this thread but it's never too late to catch the wave. Sweet setup and nice looking tank. |

Wow..what a beautiful tank! I like all the "pinks" from your tank!
Full tank shot!!!
Its looking really good. Is that angel from Harvey¿ |
Yeah.....the angels are from Harvey.
Great looking tank from beginning to end. Love the layout, and organization.
Question for you - are you concerned about having a rock fall down from your aquascaping and cracking the glass? I thought the reason people who go BB use that starboard was to protect the bottom pane of glass from falling rocks? At the same time I do see yours are not piles to high. |
Thanks 220, I am not too concerned about falling rocks cracking the glass. They are placed strategically so hopefully I wont come home to 120 gallons on the floor.
Ya it looks pretty stable and low as well. Is the bottom panel tempered? Either way the liklihood of cracking is pretty low I imagine.

No its not tempered.
Looking good there Lando.
That stubby pink birdsnest is my favorite.. |

Nice looking corals. That birdsnest is great. Keep up the pictures.
Yay! Photos!
Nice Job Lando !
Are you liking the niger ? I have two in my display, though they have been good with the corals it seems the bigger they are getting the more agressive they are becoming. I tried 4 fire fish....they ate one before it even seen the inside of the tank and another about 10 mins after that. I have two left, i just cant figure out why they left these two alone. Good work, Marc. |
