Photos of the aquarium
Well folks, I can't seem to add photos to the thread, so I created an album:
http://canreef.com/vbulletin/album.php?albumid=41 I made it public, so if this link doesn't work, you should be able to get into it through general means. Please let me know if this doesnt work, as I would like to share these with you. The photos are in reverse timeline, so start at the last one (#1) and work your way back. I included a narrative with each photo to explain my madness. This project took me two years, and was 95% complete when we sold the house. I devoted a lot of my life to this project, and it was hard to leave it behind. It broke my heart to learn it was destroyed, but I completely understand. It needed to be completed, and I think it may have been too much of an undertaking. I learnt a lot, and have since completed other aquariums (not as large). If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me, because I probably learnt from a mistake during this project. J This may not be the aquarium mentioned in this thread, but I have a gut feeling..... |
you have a half of a tree in an aquarium....krikee
|
Wow, that would be one heck of a tank to have up and running.
|
props to you, too bad a tank like that was never appreciated by the new home owner. if you should happen to build another please do share your progress

WOW, that's gonna be hell to move. Not only do they need a walkout basement, they also need 4 feet wide double doorway.
at 2000lbs, you'll need 10 strong lads to help you out. |
