The build is lots of fun! I'm sure I can continue to find new ways to automate and add on haha. Next project will likely be a Kalk stirrer. I have slowly been stocking up on parts :)

Sure could. I almost went that route.. i was going to use linear bearings and a 12v linear actuator to raise and lower it with a button.. but after installing it was able to get all my rock in and move around with out the light being an issue so in ever bothers

Cool build and really thought out sump layout. May I suggest a screen net for those nice anthais, they tend to carpet surf a lot.

Thanks bblinks. Ironically the anthias have been out and about but hide under rocks a lot. I did buy the parts for a screen top but am still unsure if I want to use one (I just love the open top look). But I guess I should build it and see how it looks

yes I had a breeding pair for a while the male just passed a month or so ago just have the female . Love having them in my reef , is your's eating mysis ?

It hard to tell. He forged all day. I mix mysis and Canalis up when I feed and blast some his way so I hope so. So far so good.
