This from GeoReef from my friend George, my new calcium reactor coming. My great looking sump stand built by my friend Mike. Nice to have such a good friend. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...pseepuxx72.jpg Tank waiting for water soon. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...pspvae5z3p.jpg |
Not allowed to ask why my front acrylic is cut like that. The glass patch on the right is for the hole drilled when I was going to do two end overflows. I valved it for future use, but as it was sticking out I was sure as clumsy as I am, it would not be long before I hit it and cracked the glass.

Sump installed in its final place. Just worried about the almost 1ft. vertical for the drain pipes to go in.Still, they are lower than the bottom of my tank. Tanks 3/4 full of water with the new Pukani in already and pretty well cycled. |
You're officially ahead of me now. Haha

Well thats just freakin lovely. Cut my overflow glass to high. Works but water level to near top. Should have listened to the tank builder at Concepts....but oh no, I know better. DOH!!
Anyone have a solution besides empting tank & redo overflows walls. |
Bummer
Hey thats no solution.....
The solution is clear. Redo it properly :)
I know. Was hoping for a magic solution. And I just cleaned the mess all up for the cleaner on Tue. "sigh"

Ha ha. I know. My daughter says the same thing. Im going to mess it up know though. |
Well back to square one. C,mon Mindy, catch up time.....:D
Tanks drained, rocks removed. Tomorrow is cutting and ,UG, scraping day. I already removed the piping into the other room, as I may as well raise it to the appropriate height so there is no vertical to the sump. Anyone use anything special to remove that last film of silicone? Thanks |

You might be winning again. I only have a few pieces glued so far. I got distracted in the gardens. No beer or wine yet, but I think it's coming soon. :p
Still waiting for my overflow to come from Concepts. Should be here today. So now Im working on raising the drains. I made three new wall holes, higher than the sump. Going to have some drywall repair one day.
Haha, my stand looks like that!
Well Doug, it may be 11 pm here, but my tank is running and everything's transferred. Does that mean I'm winning? I'm scared to go to sleep now though.
