Perhaps we could change the time to 12(noon) till 6pm. To accommodate some of those that are going to the auction. That way they could still attend and hopefully snag a few nice peices and win some prizes as well? :)

I don't know if having 2 events on one day will work for those of us going to the auction since most of the VAHC members will be there early in the morning (by 9:30) and stay most of the day to pay off their bill at the end of the auction. So they would have to keep any frags they want to bring in a bag all day, then drive from North Van down to Richmond. I'm usually beat by the end of the auction so I don't think I would come down and try to catch the last hour or half hour of the reef event. Only those who leave the auction at lunch time will probably head to Richmond. They only do the money transactions at noon and at the end.

Sorry guys, so it looks like a majority of the attendees would still like the date set for:
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8th.

However we will extend the time and have the swap from 11am till 6-8pm depending on how many frags everyone has left. :mrgreen:


The venue will have Food, Beers, Darts, Badminton and of course Lots of corals and prizes to be given out.

Prizes will be announced shortly. There are currently more then enough prizes which will allow for us to do Hourly prize draws.

Once again I just wanted to let everyone know that this is a family friendly event, your welcome to bring along friends and family. If you do not have something to swap, trade or buy. You are STILL welcome to come and chat, enjoy the corals or grab a beer and hang out! :biggrin:
