Actually less than 24 hrs gets you nothing but I find most customs agents will let you by with at least $100. Over 24 hrs and you get $200.

If they do make you pay tax its fast and easy mm you just show the receipt.

I find Drs Foster & Smith great for shipping heavy stuff. I always get my salt from them and they can ship it to my door cheaper than i can drive to Winnipeg.

Their selection available to Canadians is great. I just use BRS for the additives and RO/DI filters etc.

I'm gonna look into this cuz they hae more options for salt then winnipeg does.

Drs Foster & Smith have a flat rate of $18 shipping to Canada plus an 18% international surcharge.

I can get 2 200Gal boxes of Reef Crystals to my door for:

Reef Crystals x2 $107.98
Shipping $18.00
Ontario Tax $19.44

Total $145.52


Cheaper than a tank of gas!

That's like the price of the h2ocean I'd start to try out. Don't want instant ocean, don't want seachem reef salt cuz it leaves a residue,

That's a 65$ box of salt locally. So you're paying 15$ to have it delivered.
