Not sure the name but it's 3 x 250w mh 8 x t5 blue actnic and 24 lunar led the t5 are on from 7-9 am mh from 9-6pm than t5 from 6-8/9 than lunar overnight

Oh and the bulbs are 6-7 months old

do you use RO or tap water?

Distilled tap water with prime but I also tested airdrie tap water and the levels if any were fairly low

what and how often is the tank being fed?

Ok so update
I manually went in and tried to clean it up and what I found is it isn't brown algae but green hair algae covered in detritus now as my tank shouldn't still be cycling the only thing I can think is its the wife feeding to much

Any thoughts????

The tank is fed twice a day 2 cubes a mix consisting of Mysis, brine shrimp, cyclopeze and I feed the corals there blend every 3 days

That's ALOT of food ;)

I would def cut that in in half and once a day
