This hobby if full of prejudice!! from the corals you keep, to the equipment you use, to the size of your tank...it's hilarious, way too much hot air blows around. That guy that said you are ruining the hobby because you have a nano tank is well..... unno lol kind of speechless to even come up with anything....

Hilarious, if he said that to me I would have got him fired. Realistically I wouldn't take anything that comes from a Petsmart employee seriously.

He wasn't a Petsmart employee just a customer there

I never knew nano tanks were disregarded in this hobby?
Mind blown...

Now I am very curious what he would say when he hears about my system. He might sue me :surprise:

Quick question

What sizes are considered a nano?

I've got a 2g macro algae tank with all my hitchhiker crabs

I'd that a nano? Or a pico?

Is my 29 biocube a nano?

Generally anything under a 45 gallon is considered nano not a hard rule but generally accepted as such.

2g macro algae tank?! PHUFFF! The OP ruins the hobby and you are just wasting good salts for keeping macros! MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

a nano is simply one billionth of something else. According to the U.S. Geological Survey the ocean is 36,614,237,300,000,000,000,000 gallons. So I'd say a nano tank is in the range of 36,614,237,300,000 gallons or less.
