I want it, but can't justify it. Free bump!

Free Bump.
This skimmer is worth its weight. The only reason I no longer have a SM250 is because I upgraded to a SM300. |

Would it be too much for a 120 with about 150 total water volume including sump? I have a SRO SSS 1000 right now and it doesn't pull much, but that is mainly to do with my filter sock catching most everything.
|
I've ran the same skimmer since May 2008, never gave me an issue, it's rock solid. Ran in on a 100 gallon tank + sump without issue.
|
On paper, probably it is too big for your tank size but it also depends on the load. I am running bk deluxe 200 on 155 gallon with medium stock and happy with it

I have a 170 Cone on my 65 gal trust me Im the skimmer King I have used that one on my 150 gal SPs and it was no problems with it. Brett can chime in I bought his and codfather used it after me its a bullet you can kill them ,,,,,,,
