Usually gel super glue does the trick

ocean diver 11-06-2012 02:29 AM

OK glue, how? Just put a little glue on it, then what?

Nano 11-06-2012 02:33 AM

Lol, that's just for aiptasia. If you buy a frag with aiptasia on it, you can just cover that part with the gel crazy glue. (its not for dipping) ;)

For dipping I take the same route as reefwars, in fact I believe is "borrowed" (stole) this method from him.

Coral rx, flatworm exit, h202 etc. No pests ever in my tank.

lol ya I know just for aiptasia, so just glue over them then put into tank with the glue on them?

Nano 11-06-2012 02:46 AM

Yeah it keeps them from getting light, oxygen, flow, food, etc thus killing them with out giving them a chance to reproduce

thats my weapons for new corals:P

Could you explain this process a little. Do you dip all new corals in a mix of all those things? Dip corals in each one but separate containers? Or just dip in certain ones depending on what you see after inspecting? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am new and seem to have a lot of them.
