agreed, I just called ocean aquatics as they are only 3 blocks from my work, but they are 2 weeks out on the units and do not have a eta on when they would get the controller, I actually called with the intention of going in and getting them if they were in stock lol and my wife says I rush things.....

That's why I opted to make the purchase with a local supplier. I really hate paying the 12% tax though.

I know how's that like.

Kinda glad that I am lazy on my day off, otherwise I will probably have a 210 in my den right now.

Even if you ordered from the states they'd still charge gst and pst at the border

Oh ok. I still think by law the retailer has to charge pst if it's being shipped to bc.

I once ordered something from Ontario and only paid gst

If the the sale is for a customer outside of the province, then customer doesn't have pay for the provincial tax. Unless, the particular vendor has an establishment in the customer's province then yes, PST will apply.

Well, I am so close to the boarder that I just get stuff mailed to a mailbox provider right on the boarder of the us side, half of hour drive and I am there. On the back across, just be as honest as I can and 99% of the time our custom agents just wave me through. cheapest I found in the states were 350 each and free shipping.
