A little information of of the webpage

Information on HC GFO

Regenerable Granulated Ferric Oxide

Phosphates levels in a saltwater tank has been always an ongoing struggle with aquarists. High levels of Phosphates cause a numerous effects, promoting the growth of green algae, slowing the calcification of corals and coralline. After doing a detailed research research, it seems that High Capacity Granulated Ferric Oxide is the best and safest ions to be placed in our saltwater tanks and have a positive results with double the pull on Phosphates than the regular granular or pellet form GFO and folds over for quality on any other brand labeled as Phosphates remover. Since the ion exchange happens on the surface of the High Capacity Granulated Ferric Oxide it is best to use the smallest pellet or granular form possible. Another good effect of the High Capacity Granulated Ferric Oxide in the column of the reactor that saltwater passes through adheres to other ions such as copper, zinc, cobolt, nickel, arsenic, selenium, silica and organics.
