Thats our saving grace up here. There is simply nothing for sale so there is very little temptation to buy more. Although at one point I think I did have about 40 colonies in my display. But a few years ago I came to my senses and started removing to my frag tank or selling the ones I didn't really like. Now I'm down to 25 or 20 if you don't include Zoanthids which to me are just filler. I've often thought it would be really different to have a large tank populated by just a single massive coral like a big domed Platygyra. The closest I've seen is the TOTM on RC from a few years ago where the guy had nothing but rose bubble tip anemones.

I always try and go minimal but it doesn't always end up that way. This is probably my most minimal aquascape as of yet, tank was a Red Sea Max 34 gallon.... and excuse the obvious image doctoring :mrgreen:
