Once i figured out what was happening that was my reaction as well. Weird. Like i said it wasnt the first time shes done it, ive also had a mass stomatella spawn happen in my last tank. Lots of puffs of eggs and "splooge" going on. And shes done it before as well. Its actually a neat thing to watch, just not cool when shes doing it over the edge of the tank. I had to adjust her to the bottom of the tank as she wouldnt quit, she climbed right back up to the top again and did it again, this time she did it on the back so everything just went into the overflow, the two fish i have and some corals seemed to be feeding on them, i did a waterchange just for good measure. You would be surprised how many eggs a snail like that has. Kinda looked like a large amount of microbubbles in the tank.

Usually that’s happening when they feel danger, it is a spices self defense mechanism. It in tank it is triggered by things lime water change, adding buffer etc….

Hmm, well i hadnt done a water change for about 5 days before this happend, i dont dose or use buffers and im thinking it doesnt have much to fear as its the biggest thing in my tank with a coral goby and purple firefish thats probably more afraid of the snail.
