What's a pagoda? Is it the softy that I've been calling a toadstool for all this time? But yes, all my corals are from J&L, do I have you to thank for that Dekay?
Tony, I recently built that canopy and upgraded lighting. The lights are 2x250w 10k halides. Bulbs by Venture and Ballasts standard dual PFO all purchased on ebay (My first non LFS purchase, I felt so guilty!) I also have two 96w actinic pc's but only one is presently running as I'm having a little wiring and ballast "issue" Best, Rob |
I think he's referring to the thing to the right of the xenia and cap, like a scroll coral but bigger polyps (dunno if it's an LPS or SPS)...
|
Ok so that would be what I call the "Cup coral"! Latin was never my forte, although I know that it's also important to learn the proper names of my stock for compatibility, research, etc.
If that is the one you were thinking of Dekay, I got that at J&L's about a year ago. Rob |
Yah, cup coral Rob.
Hey, I just tried Joe's Juice. AWESOME STUFF  Gonna get all my rock back in shape one by one. |
EmilyB just wondering where did you get that joes juice & how much did it kill & finally how much did it cost?
Thanx |
I got one from Mike who ordered them right from Joe  In fact I see he has a testimonial on there already....
I've only done my first few but holy smokes, those puppies are gonzo. I have a whole bunch of rock in a bin yet to do, so I suspect I will be ordering more  http://www.joesjuice.com/ |
Hey Deb, was it easy to get them in hard to reach areas?
Also, how many do you think a 20ml bottle will cover? Thanks! Rob |
Sweet tank!
I really like that Cap, it's so green  Maybe we could do a trade when I come up skiing in a week or two  |
nice pics...all I have to say is how are you keeping your sand soo darn clean
|
Rich,
I'd love to do that. There are no other reeders out here and we don't seem to get into Vancouver much except when others are working. The sand is cleaned by a Sally Litefoot, and a Yellow headed goby. We also have a spotted goby but he doesn't seem to sift much Rob |
