Thanks DCDN
Kobelka, no problems with the overflow box. Ive heard rumors of the CPR box losing the siphon, but this one is made by Eshopps, it works on the same principal, but is designed a bit different. So far it works flawlessly. A couple shots of the overflow http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23248892/Tan...s/IMG_0007.JPG http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23248892/Tan...s/IMG_0009.JPG I think its the riser tube that's different. I could be wrong though, Ive never owned a CPR unit . Lockroookie, I can't believe how much I forgot, somethings are coming back as I go along. But others I'm relearning by mistake again. That along with technical advancements make me sort of a rookie again too. Hoping I don't forget something important, cause I look forward to getting some pics along the way. |
that overflow box mimics my lifereef overflow box....i wish i could have drilled my 90 but the tank is tempered thus why i used the overflow box and if yours runs on the same principal you will have no issues it never loses a syphon.
just as a hint be careful cleaning the syphon tube i blew out oneof mine with a pipe cleaner gismo luckily it crazy glued ok but they are pricey to replace good to have a backup on hand of any sort original or made upjust in case. |
