I am dosing about 30-35 a day and I have the same tank with about the same load
|
Why are you dosing without testing? and if you are testing, why are you wondering why there are no precipitation? there should not be any precipitation if you don't bring your parameters overboard.
How did you determined what amount you needed? If you did it right, there is no risk of overdosing. I put 100ml per day for the KH in my 75 gallons but I have a heavy load of coral. |
I guess it all depends on the concentration you use to start with. Different product have a different base concentration. I use the BRS and use 100ml in my 75 gallons but I first did a test to find out how much I was taking daily.

I totally agree. Do you have any idea about concentration of BRS mixes? I would like to try BRS because dosing Brightwell 100ml, for example, is expensive. Cheers.

I've only had the ghl online for about 1 month, before that I was testing lots, now only once a week trying to dial in on what is being consumed. The reason I ask the question in comparison to others, is a friend that has a 180 mixed reef on a reactor for 10 years, commented that it seemed like alot to be dosing on my setup for the size of my corals. I did'nt think so because like I said there was no signs of precip on any heat sources. That being said this is my first setup & I am surprised how quickly sps start to get to serious levels of uptake of the supplements. Soon I need more.
