Sea Dwelling Creatures in Los Angeles is one of the largest marine wholesalers in the US, it's not really "the guy who has them". They import livestock from around the world, and distribute to retail stores across North America. I would venture to say that most of us hobbyists have a fish or 20 that came from SDC. :)

Surprisingly all 6 are still available. I will include the 50" LCD, if you pay the MSRP on them.

Great find!

Sure, you should be able to take delivery in December '12.

I can't imagine anyone that would get them, err, I actually have a customer that would consider a pair. Once the husbandry information is worked out.

Amazing the first time ever in Canada if anyone gets them! They grow to 9 inches in captivity and live around 8 years and are very hardy if decompressed right.

Murminator 09-13-2010 03:55 AM

Well I hope the right person gets them that can breed them and not a guy who has more money that brains....and maybe donates some fry to an aquarium for everyone to enjoy

RedCoralEdmonton 09-13-2010 03:58 AM

If SDC is the facility with them then i assure everyone that they have been decompressed properly and are a very high quality specimen. I highly recommend if anyone is seriously considering buying these that you get ahold of Ken ASAP to grab them as they wont last long i guarentee!

Actually that's not true, we have a shop in Toronto that has it in stock right at the moment.

But Ken's prices are insane, so any collectors interested should really consider getting them ... especially now that the fish collector might be dead.

Another store has them in Canada, sweet what's the store called? Also the diver you were talking about was named Rob lower he passed away Friday due to the bends while searching for the elusive genicanthus persontus I believe. He was olny one of two collectors in Hawaii that dove deep he also collected the adult female genicanthus persontus a couple weeks ago.

R.I.P. Rob Lower
