Good to see others from Manitoba north. During my 30 yrs. in Thompson, I made many trips to Flin Flon, mostly for bowling. Had many friends from there. :biggrin:

It really is a small world. We left Flin Flon when I was 14, so that is close to 50 years ago. :eek:

Dad's family is from Winnipeg (I was born there), and Mom's family is from beautiful Shoal Lake.

We all got smart and moved out west. I once mentioned I was in Calgary in 1971. Stayed for a year, then went back to Thompson, as I missed the money to much. :smile:

My youngest brother stayed and is still there and the middle brother moved to BC. Guess I,m the only faithful flatlander. :lol:
