What upgrading already, I can't speak, shame on you. while you are at it go 280 long is the key:mrgreen: just tell the hubby it has to be long its in the constitution of reef keeping.

looks great love the rock work.

hahaha...nope, not a guy. ;)

280 long...ouch...too much work! lol We don't own the house...so moving that much would be scarey!

Hopefully I can remember how to stack the rocks back when I dismantle them all for the move!

Wow thats a great looking tank! I am a huge bow front fan!

Thanks, i'm a bowfront fan as well, unfortunately, I do need the upgrade...so i'll probably sell the bowfront after that. :( It's so hard to get rid of tanks though!

Yeah I would like to upgrade to like a 120Gallon tank or maybe a bigger custom tank... Something like 4'W X 4'L X 2'H :twised:

Thought i'd post pics of the tank we made for the upgrade...

And I thought i'd put up a pic of one of my more comical tank inhabitants...a spotted hawkfish.

So I got bored today, and figured i'd go ahead and start on the transfer from the 72 to the 110...and I was just going to start with the sand!

So much for just the sand, once I started I figured I'd just go for the whole enchalada.

It doesn't show in the pic, but the stand was built using a model that was posted by Kien awhile ago, and it worked out quite well with 2x4s and of course as I mentioned before we built the tank. Though, we didn't take into consideration the thickness of the glass when we did the length, so my lights are 1/4" too short. Something to consider for the next tank. lol Are we ever happy???!! :P

Mmm.. Enchalada..

..Oh, um, i mean great job love the caves in the aquascape! :)

Wingin It 07-15-2010 04:38 AM

hahaha...trade you an enchalada for a coral?? LMAO

Greenmaster 07-15-2010 06:55 AM

Love the rock work... still not sure how I am going to do mine... still got time to wait.

Wingin It 07-15-2010 02:57 PM

Thanks Greenmaster, it took awhile, especially when the water was so cloudy when I started placing the rock, but eventually they all bridged the way I liked it. :)
