I guess we will soon see how good these people are, as I sent in an order for some zoos totalling more than $200.00 so I can save on shpping and packing costs. After all it is worth a few bucks to get some nice zoos.

$200!!! Are you starting a zoos farm, Bob?? Wow... let me know when they spread onto some nearby rubble...

Why not?? Zoos rock especially for those of us with smaller systems. I thought I might as well order a bunch, as he does not have all that many in stock.

...no more free frags from YOU, I guess...

I think that you might be onto something though... kind of anxious to see how this goes for you.

Well at this moment I am exchanging emails with the company owner. He says he will ship the order on Wednesday with guaranteed delivery before 10:30 AM. He says it will be delivered to my door. How I don't know

Quinn 09-28-2003 05:59 AM

Well that would mean UPS or Fedex, but I've never heard of someone shipping livestock via courier in Canada. Sounds scary.

He now says it will be sent by UPS by air, and a carrier will deliver to my door by 10:30 AM. He says the corals will be in the box for 14 hours, and that they do not mind that at all. I guess we will have to trust him since he has done this before.

Not as scary as you might think. The green carpet that is now in Canadian Man's tank came to me by FedEx from Toronto, fall of '99 when I bought it. It's actually not too bad. They (FedEx) have late night depots where you can drop a package off as late as 10pm and it will still be able to get guaranteed next day service (which is delivered before 10:30). So it was in transit maybe about 12 hours (because it arrived well before 10 Calgary time).

Yes no worries everyone, here is an example I shipped out a Package to Newfoundland thursday I dropped it off at UPS at 7:30pm and it got to NF at 10:43am the next day at his door where he signed for it, and added the corals to his tank at 11:32 I got an email from him saying everything was great and the zoos are almost all open, UPS is not that scary the only scary part is if no one is home to accept the package.
