To be honest, since Felicia was born (June 6, 2008), I haven't been using my RODI unit.
Just straight tapwater for both top up & water changes. Haven't really found it to be an issue. I have a 210g full blown mixed reef with 75g sump & ER RS250 skimmer. I also have a 120g fowlr/softie tank with a 90g wide low light reef/refugium/sump with an ASM G4x skimmer. Not recommending others do this, but since you asked, yes, I use straight tap water. On water changes, I usually do 100+ gallons at a time & the water mixes for a couple of days, so the chlorine dissipates. Anthony |
i also use tap water and probably dont even wait long enough for chlorine to dissipate.
never had algae or any other problems relating to my water. |
