Was just using this before I upgraded to Kessils 3 weeks ago.

One switch needs to be fixed but the switch can be bypassed for a hardwired connection of course.

Still willing to part out and sell the Icecap 150w HQI electronic ballasts for $50 each. Can see it working before I cut the ballasts out of the switch box.

Will you ship to Ontario? Can this be modified to 30" wide? Thanks

Last time I checked 3 years ago, shipping each ballast to Ontario was about $15 each. But it might have gone up since then. Not sure what you mean by modifying it to 30" wide. It's not the fixture/reflector that I will be shipping, just the individual Icecap 150w HQI electronic ballasts. To part them, I would cut the wires that are now wired to the switches of the switch box and then the buyer would have to rewire them for their DIY metal halide project. I'll try to take a photo later.

But even if you are talking about the fixture, no it cannot be shortened to 30".

The ballasts are like this:

"I'm using IceCap's 150 watt electronic ballast. I have long-term experience with this ballast since I've used it on another aquarium for the past 18 months as well. It's small (fits in the palm of your hand), lightweight, quiet and barely gets warm to the touch. I'm able to mount it safely out of the way on the inside wall of my aquarium stand with no concern for heat buildup. It's a major improvement over the cinderblock griddle that I used previously."

Actually thinking of buying the whole set up.. My tank is 30" wide.

Ok, I'll have to measure the box, weigh it and get back to you on the shipping cost.
