Ya I decided to go the blue velvet way. my wrasse eats them non stop, just had a bit of a min cycle pop up and make the population explode.

Think increasing your flow would work? I found that when I increased flow there population declined, that and a good predatory wrasse will give you a hand.

I have three powerheads at the moment circulating the tank nicely, I will direct the flow more at jey areas though and see if it helps. Over the last few days I'm been removing them just by spot suction and a it's helping a lot as well

They definitely preferred the lower flow areas in my tank so that is certainly a possibility.
