so i have been talking to them and thay are working on some of the problems
so i guess we will see what thay do .

noirsphynx i would contact them and get them to send you a new pump !
i am thinking i may do the same

have you figured out how to fix the overflow problem mine will overflow one day and than I will empty it and than it could be fine for the next little while or overflow in a couple hours

hmmmm. i have noticed my hob will overflow every blue moon but found it to be caused by the micro-bubble sponge on the end of the out put. after a while it would get clogged with debris or food causing a restriction on the output thus overflowing the skimmer..

you find if you shim the hob skimmer up a bit say a
inch it will work better !

i have the psk 75 hob and i tried raising it aswell and found it did work a little but not nearly aswell as regulating the airflow. i just added a piece of tubing to the in on the silencer and added a valve. i have since taken the valve off as its running like a dream now. very long break in period.
