The manufacturer gains if selcon has to be replaced because 'the selcon may be bad'. This reefer may toss the old one and buy a new one.
The salmon or other fish oil capsules for humans do not say 'refrigerate after opening' either. But, if you take a few fresh sunflower seeds, crush them and leave them unrefrigerated, within days they go bad. That is the reason why it makes sense to refrigerate selcon. Just my opinion |
Isn't it a vitamin actually vitamin c

selco is just stabilized pollock or squid lipids. Needs to be refrigerated as naesco pointed out. I always shake before use because i find it always settles to the bottom.
edit: and yes it does eventually go bad after a long while. If the colour and odour still look and smell right though, then it's alright. |
Do the unopened bottles need refridgeration as well?
|
probably. I've always refrigerated mine from the start.
