Aren't their custom tanks built by Concept? That was my understanding and if that's the case the warranty should be good, that's what concept brags about the most.

Yes, AI uses Concept Aquariums to build their tanks. They use thicker glass than factory tanks but you do pay a little more. I got a quote on a 30x20x20 with overflow for about $350. If you need a bunch of tanks built they would probably give you a much better deal. Two years ago I had them build a 24x24x24 w/o overflows and it is a nice tank, I think the price was around $200.

Concept and AI are owned by the same people.

Yeah that was my understanding, so who's had problems with warranty then??

Check with Ed (Saltynuts) He had a 200 something gallon blow on him and damage his entire basement, all he got was a 54 gallon tank instead of warranty or a new tank. PM him.

I don't want to get into too much of this but there are always conditions to warranty, most never bother to even look into them.

If you don't meet the conditions provided by the company you can't really expect them to do much. Chances are conditions weren't met but they made a deal.

Well that really sucks, so exactly what reasoning did they give? I can't understand why they wouldn't honor the warranty if all their conditions were met, that's just terrible business. They even claim to have the best warranty in the business.
