those are some of the nicest zoas i have ever seen. i so wish that my tankwas up, or that we would get stuff like that in calgary.

when do you plan on moving to toronto by the way? (hoping my tank is up so i can get some of that wicked green torch before you leave)

I am confident the corals will make it, it is the courier system that worries me. Has been a bad winter for us here in TO, snow every other day it seems.

Hopefully you'll still have them when the weather gets better and they can make a cross Canada trip

Thanks man - it was abundant this weekend only.......but I think I got my hands on a couple really unique ones, and hey the others are real nice to!

Any idea where those were harvested? I was wondering if they are aussie or not? Very Very nice!

wickedfrags 01-18-2009 09:30 PM

Not aussie. It would have been advertised if they were. Do not mind that they are aussie as the aussie zoas are notoriously challenging to keep.

I will have a wicked sale price on the purple, yellow and orange one above. Want everyone to have a chance to own some of these. Much nicer than the average zoa!

Good to know that you can look for colonies and ship them. Keep your eyes open for a nicely colored and sized Oregon Tort Colony for me. There is not time frame, if you find one just pm me.
Thanks,

aww wow. can't wait to do this next order now. probably will be getting mostly zoa's anyways lol

karazy 01-19-2009 01:33 AM

haha im actualy really mad that my tank isnt up. i love all these zoas soo much!
Are you gonna keep some to grow out, or sell them all off?

also, how often do stores around you get crazy zoas like that?

wickedfrags 01-19-2009 11:28 AM

Think a true nicely sized and coloured Oregon Tort would only come from Oregon! Generally those brand name corals stay in the US. That being said, we should be getting some nice SPS in a hand-picked shipment in the next few weeks.

The really nice colonies, well I never sell them all off. I have some zoanthid colonies I have been fragging and selling for 3 years. I have some SPS I have been fragging and selling for 5 years. Start your tank this year and I should still haev these available.

First time I have seen such a nice zoa shipment. The shipment was exclusively zoas which does not happen that often.
