I have a large one in my 90, bought him small maybe 2" across, but he now expands to well over a foot during the day.

is yours still bubble tip?

It depends, For the most part it does not have bubbles and only retains a few on some of the tips.

Somedays it is full of bubble tips but that is usually after a good feeding or a large water change.

I found when it was much smaller it had bubbles all the time but as it grew it is hard to keep them.

OMG!!! I ripped him off!!! I was trying to take him out of the spot where he usually is, but I ripped him off into 2 pieces, I can see all his organ and the shrimp that I fed him an hour ago , what should I do? should I take him/them out of my tank? @#$@ 120$ down the drain.

QT that thing. They can repair themselves, but only under ideal conditions. My sebae did that once with a powerhead, but fixed himself up in QT.. took about two weeks and I put him back in the DT after about 2 months. GL, sounds like a goner though.

leave it in a tank with lo flow or just water passing slowly they basically rip themselves into 2 to split except you just did yours a favor.
