This question is a little off topic but i was wondering how much the end caps for VHO's cost? I did some reasearch concering VHO's. THe workhorse 7 is $55 and I was wondering how much I will pay for a pair of end caps?

just buy the IceCap endcaps from J&L

Steve, what kind of device are you using to measure your light intensity?

Hi Brad

I have now a T5 bulb combination 1 blue and 1 day light 4 foot over my 180 sump

All I can say is Im realy amaze by how powerfull those T5 are! It even hard to look direct at them

they are 55 watt HO and I fire them with a teeny electronic ballast made for them and a lot cheaper than Ice Cap. I have now only sample from germany 4 in total but Im looking to get the complete line here

Im now at setting up a new coral farm with 3 more tank 8'x2' foot 13inch deep and I will made experiment to see comparison watt for watt over MH
but so far Im realy realy impress with them and every one who have see it also are

see ya
