Awesome. Been waiting for a high-end coral distributor on the coast for a bit now.

It is nice to see some excitement building. I am sure I will be doing Clams and Carpets at some point. I am also planning on doing a fair amount of actual Coral farming as well, I want to help make this hobby/passion long term and sustainable. I will be using the most up to date aqua culturing and livestock handling practices and will be treating all of the livestock with the upmost care and respect.

The goal is to aquaculture the most favorable Corals coming in with the hopes of making exciting popular frags available on a regular basis from healthy home grown specimens.

Oceanic Corals will also be using the newest procedures for limiting pests in its systems and yours.

Thanks for the words of encouragement so far! :biggrin

The site will updated on a daily basis. There is also a program on the drawing board for frequent patrons that rewards referrals. Though plans are still in the brainstorming stages, you can expect that the site will be image-rich and many of the sales to be conducted on a WYSIWYG basis.

EDIT: I can't say much more at this point, but I wanted to point out that the frequent buyer's program will be amongst the most exciting aspects of the business model. You do NOT want to miss out on this :D

EDIT: I have to apologize, as the term "partners" is a bit misleading. I have managed, through several months of constant negotiations, a few business arrangements that allow me "piggyback" off of orders brought into the country via tranship. My suppliers (I have worked hard at securing the interest of several) have chosen to remain silent through this arrangement and I have chosen to respect their wishes.

Often times, my suppliers will have access to some very high-end/pricey livestock that none of their stores want to risk an investment in. That's where I step in.

The final aspect of my business arrangement is that I am renting a space on a friend's property for the location of the facility. I guess many of you already figured that out; this place is definitely not in my basement. Not much to say there other than cheap rent is good and so is a continued happy relationship with the "boss" :D

Hope that clears things up.

I didn't think it would be long until you found this thread! As you can see by the pictures, we have LOTS of room for fish, the whole left hand side bank is fish only tanks! I know fish is your thing, we will be stocking all kinds.
