Tank looks great Glen. Was it built on site?
|
Those are awesome dimensions. :) Is it a glass aquarium or is it plywood, or acrylic?
|
Ooops, guess it's a glass tank, looking at the pictures again. What thickness is the glass?
|
^^ It's 1 or 1.5 inch I believe..
I'll have to get pics of the tank room in beyong next time I am around Glenn! |
I love it! What else do you have for livestock in the tank? How are you keeping your parameters in line, specifically which method do you use for your Ca., dKH, and Mg maintenance?
|
Lookin goooooooooood Glen. Your right all that sps has barely made a dent. Give it a year or two the your tank will look full. I heard about the achilles...hows it doin?
Doug. |
achilles is doing alright...seemed as tho the sohal was chasing it around at the start but now he stands his ground
I had the tank built on site when I was doing my basement...Only damaged one sheet... As for parameters, i use luck and gut feeling at the moment...I dont have a calc reactor as yet but try to use the best salt and additives...I know the luck wont last forever but still trying to piece out certain devices to make the tank better..Although I test the calcium, alkalinity and mg often, everything looks good for now... I believe the glass is 22mm |
As for the sps not making much of a dent, I now have a new plan that involves giving more money to Red Coral and Coral Masters...
|
Great looking tank.
I would like to see some behind the scenes pictures if you got them, and of the biuld. What is some of your maitance you do on your tank? What is some of the planed equiment on your list? |
Wow Glen, your tank looks awesome! I met you at Red Coral when you were buying truck loads of salt! How long has it been since you first set-up your tank?
