The tank looks awesome.

Sorry about the coral. It's in pretty rough shape but you never know, it could turn around. I guess it depends on what caused the stress and if it's able to overcome that. I have the same thing going on. Just randomly pieces that were doing really well, will suddenly succumb and look like that. The holes are dead polyps or basically what's left after the polyp is gone. I have had 3 frags this week alone that suddenly declined. I'll probably lose them all. :( Good luck.

Even if it's pure white, it can come around. I had a colony go snow white on me, no polyps, etc, but I couldn't reach it well enough to worry about pulling it out. 3 months later it colored up again and started growing. A good test if you can remove it is smell it to see if it still has tissue.

It's brown, still has tissue just no polyps and has been like this (except for a little bit of tissue loss that is covered in cyano) since Jan.
Because it has encrusted onto the rock and another coral beside has grown into it, it's going to have to remain there whether I want it to or not :lol:
