Yes Sam, he was a great supporter at the reef meeting, but have never been to his store front.

Will make it there next week.

He's just off off 76th Ave and I'd guess the street is 135 or 135A in Surrey. It's in a little complex in behind Cosco. Yes he was at the last meeting and he did provide a door prize.

To be exact, Pauls Aquarium Centre's address is #108 7533 135th st.-Surrey. Troy is right, his store is directly behind Costco and Can. Tire. store # is 604 572-4649

Pauls store has been in Surrey for about 6-8 years, before that the store was on Kingsway where it was Vancouvers prime place to shop for fish and corals. Thursday nights were a riot as that was when new shipments arrived, crowds of 20-30+ would be there waiting for the "bag cutting". I wasn't reefing then but my roomie was, and I remember going with him on many visits to Pauls where there was always something different to see or buy 8)

Paul's father Jack who passed away a few years ago, was the most highly respected man in Vancouvers retail aquarium Industry with over twenty five years experience- a great man who will always be missed. Jack passed on all of his knowledge to the entire family. So you could say that it's a small family buisness, that's always been there for it's customers.

I have been dealing with Paul and his family for over five years now, and there store is in my top three of places to shop. Pauls does have a wide selection of freshwater, saltwater, and pond supplies. The saltwater side of things is not as large as his freshwater setups, however he is adding another large coral tank sometime soon 8), which will give him a total of two coral tanks as well as eight sw fish tanks and many cubicle invert tanks.

The prices are competitive, selection is good, but most of all there customer service is excellant as they take the time to listen as well as give knowledgable friendly advice :D Two Fins Up!- in my books

Just to add my 2cents worth about Pauls. We've found it to be the best store for the health of the fishes. They don't have as much stock, but you never see anything dead in the tanks (dead or sick are taken away pronto - wish I could say this for all the stores). The people are great/very knowledgeable and the prices, while not the lowest are competitive. It's always on our 'tour' of LFS. Two fins up :D
