All you Victoria folk,
Many years ago, Cora had an amazing one on Shelbourne St. It was at least a foot long, but ask her. i remember going into the old store and being amazed, this baby, it was siver and beautiful, had its own huge tank. Were talkin probably 10 years ago .......

it would be a red tail golden and they run about 2000 dollars
i am still debating it
but yeah they get amazing colors and you dont need anything else in the the tank. no gravel, no plants, no other fish but just it

Toni, I believe that would have been a South American Arowana, not the Asian. Big difference...still an impressive fish, but you can buy them for less than $20 (last I saw).

That's kinda what I was thinking, Tony :wink: The ones I saw were small (5 to 6.5 inches) and really not that colorful or interesting looking. So I'm thinking that they develop into really beautiful fish? The website ones look nice, but I think I'd go for the Audi first.
