Give Al Gore a call and complain , he invented it don't you know!!!

The internet is still causing me major problems at home. After sitting on hold with shaw for 38min a guy answers the call and after about 5 mins tells me to unplug my router and plug the router right into my PC. I told him, well my router/modem is in the basement by my 360 and well my PC is up two floors in a room with no cable outlet.

He asks me to hold for "a sec" 8 mins later he comes back ont he line and says.. I guess we better send a tech out to your house.. how is tomorrow between 12:00 and 5:00. :p

At least my wife is on mat leave so I don't have to take time off work.

michika 12-14-2007 02:17 AM

Haha I think I had the SAME call this afternoon, but they can't get techs out until the end of December...:(

digital-audiophile 12-14-2007 02:38 AM

Really?? I wonder why they are able to come to my place so fast and yours so slow :(

There must be a calgary wide problem. It's just odd.. google seems to load right away but anything else I try.. including canreef takes a couple seconds to a couple minutes to load.

I just started having problems today.Firefox with yahoo as a home page is taking a minute or two to open.Once it opens I'm not having any problems opening any other pages from there.IE with google homepage is opening right away with no problem.
