Thanks all.

Maybe I'm getting worked up with Mg as just started monitoring but when I first checked was 1000ppm (IO salt). Brought up by adding a whole lot of magnesium chloride and afraid if needing the large doses would be the norm, thought Mg via the reactor might be better.

If marie's example of what I can expect, then maybe not so bad sticking with littlesilvermax's product after all I did get 20 lbs from him. Guess I'll monitor for a bit longer before buying ZeoMag.

Where can one find some zeomag locally, or is it not around here?

Believe Golds was getting into Zeovit, might try them for the Mg

anywhere else?

Hidden Reef in BC has it.

As well OA carries something similar from the Faunamarin Ultralith line.

Can someone post a photo of their reactor?

Thanks Mark!

What about everyone who is running zeo mag? Are you just doing it in a regular Ca reactor? Do you just fill your reactor up with less media, or how does this work?

mark 10-10-2007 06:21 PM

From what I've been finding on ZeoMag is simply mix the product in with the Ca media at ~10% into a Ca reactor. No modifications to the reactor required.

Sounds very interesting. Thanks for filling me in Mark.
