Case in point, Indians are amazingly resourceful with the Buffalo they hunt. Not one part of the body is wasted.

Im agreeing with moolged here as well. If you need to be resourceful, then do it. just take that which isnt endangered. if that means eating stray dogs because they're the most plentiful food source, then who are we to judge that?

when it comes to hacking off shark fins and leaving the bodies to rot on the beach, then i have a major problem.

I agree with Moogled.
Unless the fishing of the seahorses is endangering the species, what is different from them eating those to that of eating tuna?
is a fish not a fish?
Interesting some place a higher value on the life of a seahorse more so than other fish just because some of us(me included) consider them pets or exquisite little things.
Like I said, as long as it is not endangering the species and done in a humane process as possible, I have no problem with eating people eating fish.

I would disagree with the shark fin thing though simply because 95 percent of the shark is wasted and thrown back into the ocean.
Not cool to kill something so wastefully just for the mystical benefit of sharks fin.
if they want to fish Shark for their fins, at least come up with something to do with the rest of the body. As well, some species are becoming endangered because of the incessant fishing of them for their fins, which is definitely not cool. No species should be hunted to endangerment for any reason.
Just my opinion though and I am sure there are lots of differing ones.

I agree 100%

Ok ok. People. I wasn't suggesting that the eating of seahorses was immoral or punishable! I was just saying it was sad. To me. Same feeling you might get if you saw a Naso Tang wedged between a ****ake mushroom and red pepper on a kebab.

Edit: Mwaaa ha ha. It edited shi...take mushroom!
