Ten minutes, wow you're brave. The 2 times I've had to do it I never let it get past about 5 minutes, at that point I'm freaking out worse than the fish is! :p

I say start off slow, if a 4 minute bath doesn't do it, try for longer in a few days. But, .. like Justin said, it's not set in stone. :)
