Thanks Jamie. The transfer was the first week of August IIRC, no major problems at all. I had a bit of an algae issue for about 2 weeks, but it went away on it's own.
The bigger footprint is great, although the center brace is a constant source of frustration. I should have spent the extra money and done away with the center brace. The cap is still one of the highlights of the tank, even though I dropped it last month. Didn't do too much damage :P Overall, it's coming along, but it still needs a year or two to really mature. The sandbed took a big hit in the transfer and is just now starting to look populated with bugs. |
Very nice Brad, you have to promise not too laugh to hard when you see my naked, hairy tank!!!!. Yours looks great. Is that 1st coral looking for a home, because I have lots of prime real estate for it :lol:
